๐Ÿ“– One Word Is Enough: The Thief, The Cross, and The Gate Called Faith

ย

๐Ÿ”น What Pleases God?

It is not our long prayers.
It is not our titles.
It is not even our outward sacrifices.

Hebrews 11:6: โ€œBut without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.โ€

The Word does not say it is difficult. It says it is impossible.
There is no other route. The only thing that pleases God is faith.
And that faith must be built by the Word.

๐Ÿ”น Faith Comes by the Word

Romans 10:17: โ€œSo then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.โ€

Every time God speaks, He offers you the raw material of faith.
Each Word He sends is a construction site, a living blueprint from Heaven to build your trust, your alignment, your destiny.

Some Words build over time.
Some Words carry enough glory and weight to complete the entire project in a single moment.

๐Ÿ”น The Thief on the Cross: A Masterclass in Faith

When religion had rejected him,
When time had run out,
When even the disciples had scattered,
A thief believed.

Luke 23:42-43:
โ€œAnd he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.โ€*

No church attendance.
No water baptism.
No laying on of hands.

Just a Word, and the heart to believe it.
That Word carried the weight of eternity. And it opened Paradise.

๐Ÿ”น The Word is a Person

This is not just about hearing phrases. The Word of God is a Person.

John 1:14: โ€œAnd the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…โ€

When we tremble at the Word, we are not trembling at ink. We are standing before Christ. When we obey the Word, we are honoring Jesus Himself.

Psalm 138:2: โ€œโ€ฆfor thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.โ€

You cannot truly exalt God while ignoring the only thing He has exalted above all His names.

๐Ÿ”น The Real Work is to Believe

John 6:28-29:
โ€œThen said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.โ€

This is the atomic verse.
The masterkey.
The real work is not to hustle for miracles or titles.
The real work is to believe.

๐Ÿ”น Faith is the True Labour

Hebrews 4:11: โ€œLet us labour therefore to enter into that rest…โ€

Faith is not laziness wrapped in spiritual language.
Faith is a labour of trust, a pressing in until you rest in the integrity of what God has said.

That is why the apostles would not negotiate the Word and prayer.

Acts 6:4: โ€œBut we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.โ€

They were not being proud. They were being precise.
If the Word suffers, everything suffers.

๐Ÿ”น Work is Not a Distraction. It is Sacred.

This is not to say that natural work is a distraction.
Truly spiritual people are among the most hardworking people on earth.

Because to them, work is spiritual.

Colossians 3:23: โ€œAnd whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.โ€

But the fire for that work is sustained only when the heart remains anchored in the Word.

๐Ÿ”น Let Your Sentence Come from His Presence

Psalm 17:2: โ€œLet my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.โ€

David did not seek validation from people.
He wanted God’s Word to be the measure of his life.

This is the posture of one who fears the Lord, one who wants their steps weighed by Godโ€™s own scale, not the shifting standards of men.

Only the Word from God’s presence can judge righteously, uphold equity, and anchor the soul.

If God’s Word is not your daily sentence, you will start living by other voices.
Your fears, your friends, your feelings, or even false prophets will begin to write the script of your life.

๐Ÿ”น No Excuses. Make Room for the Word.

However busy you are, you can read a chapter of Proverbs a day.
Even if you split it, part in the morning and part before bed.

If you can respect your vitamins,
You can respect your Bible.

Do not make God feel that you trust supplements more than His sentences.

Psalm 138:2: โ€œโ€ฆfor thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.โ€

That is how much He values His Word.

๐Ÿ”น Final Charge

If you neglect the Word, you may still appear busy but you will be spiritually drained.
You may be managing duties while leaking destiny.

Stop waiting for more confirmations when you have not yet obeyed the first instruction.
One Word from God, believed and received, is enough to begin, continue, or complete the work of grace in your life.
